The Book of Revelation is NOT just historical.  It’s PROPHETIC!  Yes, Revelation is an address to the seven churches in Asia Minor, now Turkey, containing proclamations from Jesus acknowledging their triumphs and failings, as well as specific warnings to these churches of the things yet to come.  However, many of us in the present time fail to see the PROPHETIC nature of what Jesus said to those churches about the End Times and his return, and most importantly – why it is relevant to us today.  In this episode, Steve Taylor takes a deeper look into Revelation, Chapters 2 and 3, and the inspired letters written by the Apostle John to the churches in Ephesus and Smyrna.  Steve explains how Jesus’ words contained within those letters were not just meant for the edification and moral uplift of the Christians of those churches but were also meant as a warning to all future generations.  A warning to not be like the virgins of the Parable we find in the Book of Matthew, asleep and unprepared, but to be watchful for the signs, to not be deceived by false prophets, and to be prepared for his return.
